I had a conservatory job last week where the builder had integrated a manhole cover in the screed.
The floor I laid consisted of marmox, UFH, SLC then tiles so as you can imagine the height was soon increased somewhat!
Here is what happened....

Good evening all. I thought I'd just start this thread to see what the more experience tiles on this forums thoughts are in relation to priming various substrates, ie which primer you find best, how many times you prime the different substrates prior to tiling etc.

Tile cutters aside, what would you say is the main brand of tools that you own? Drills, grinders, radios, SDS, those sort of things.
I've made it multi choice and it's public, so others can see what you have voted for.
I used a new one today and the difference it makes when using it was great. I forgot how much easier it is to remove the excess from the tile face and the joints stay fuller. I didn't realise how worn my old ones had got, they must be 18 months old.
