Sandy, every year, on the 11th of the 11th, at 11minutes past 11am it's the official start of carnival time in Germany, that continues until and peaks on Ash Wednesday in March when all the other carnevals around the world are on. And it;s been a tradition since forever that at dot at 11 past 11 on said date the kids do something naughty at school, we decided to throw our books down hard on the floor one year, it was a geography lesson and I crashed my big atlas down, looking down.. to late I realized that for whatever reason the teachers feet had placed themselves in the line of force combined with gravity, that atlas landed square on his feet, oops.... :lol: he saw the humour eventually... a long eventually, bless him... :lol:

It almost seems ironic that it's remembrance day. Mind you that day was originally to celebrate an end to hostilities until became what it is today following consequent conflicts.

And, did you know that this month, October, has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays. This only happens every 823 years? According to some facebook thingy anyhow...
