150w or 200w

got a conservatory floor to do tiles are porcelain 300x600 mat will be laid onto 6mm insulation boards, cant go much higher due to height issues to the next room, would a 150 watt matt be ok..

150w / 160w will be ok but for more warmth then 200w would be better in that room.

200w preferred in most conservatories IMO, reaches desired temperature faster and as only 6mm board too

Definitely 200W if its only source heat source, did one for a friend of mine a few years ago with 200W and that was south facing as well

Assuming a screeded substrate then 200w would be ideal.

I am not an electrician but my understanding is that 200watt simply heats floor up quicker than 150.they both heat floor to temp set on the thermostat.
general consensus is that 200 watts better in conservatory because it will heat floor up quicker.
what will make the difference is thicker insulation than 6mm but I understand you don't have more depth to play with

I don't know mate, all I know is they recommend 200w for conservatories, so gone with that, got the sparky coming in Monday, so will pick his brains on the subject...
