70m2 floating chipboard floor

Depends if it's a floating floor as in chipboard resting on joists or as in screed-insulation-chipboard. The later is a recipe for disaster.

PS I always thought that the no-more-ply sheets were a gimmick but after lengthy conversations with Nicobonds techy department i decided to give it a go and it is a very good product, slightly awkward to use cos they have the peel off backs to them but once they are stuck down they are really stuck down!! Little tip, set your floor out as your going to tile it then stick down your sheets so the edges run in line with your chalk line then just simply use the edge of the sheet as your line to follow.
what a great tip mate thanks

Hi would you or won't you tile onto a 70m2 floating chipboard floor ??? I'm a no but customer really wants it tiled ?
Could you elaborate on the construction of this 'floating' floor, what size tiles and weight you'd expect it to take/add to the structure?

Update on the floating floor, the builder is now going to Hilti fix the floating floor to the concrete through the batons every 400mm as the customer is adamant she wants tiles,he has got a spec from norcros on laying Permalayer ,what you guys think ?
