A blank canvas for a wetroom.

I have been asked to install a wetroom show area in a friends shop, the layout has been left entirely to me. The room is roughly 4 metres long by 2 metres wide. I have some ideas already but want to give it a big wow factor by incorporating as much as I can, what features would you put into one if you had a blank canvas? I am in two minds about showing a breakdown of the structure of the room on one wall, ie the wall, aqua panels tanking etc? I would like to incorporate lights in either the floor and ceiling. Should I put a bath and sink etc at one or have it just as a wet room with multiple shower heads?

Any thoughts?

Dave................can you do your magic thingy whatisname?

i would put lights higher up just because i like them at head or above height.ARE YOU USING A DRAINAGE CHANNEL OR TRAY OR WHAT?Ilove listellos between tiles in a colum as its a very nice feature...what size of tiles, stone ,ceramic?

depends what he wants to push sales wise which will reflect whether or not you put sanitary ware in place imo.

I would definitely show a breakdown of the structure of the room on one wall, before I 'got in to tiling' I had no idea how much work and prep goes into it so it will be good for people to see what they pay for.

I was thinking along the lines of travertine, although I could do some walls in different tiles. I will use a tray although I will make one out of ply unless people think I should show how the floor is made up.

I saw a picture on here a few weeks ago showing a ceiling with two levels, the middle was cut out and raised, I think that would look great with lights, just need to find it,I know Strumm commented on it so will look at his posts.

Apart from lights it will all be cosmetic, the budget is up in the air right now, Some bathroom suppliers have hinted that they might supply some pieces.
I have persuaded my sparky friend to provide all the lights etc as he always follows me for UFH and I know he wont scimp on quality fitting.

I would use something nicer than travertine Dom..

A nice brushed finish limestone or maybe even a free length narrow width marble in random offset..

I like the idea of showing the break down of the wetroom structure in the display
as this does give the customer a better idea of what goes into the building/development of a wetroom..

I have suggested this to my stone supplier and he is going to do the same..
