Adhesive for durabase ci

Hello to all again,

I am thinking of applying Durabase ci to my wall prior to fitting a single column of 300x300 mosaic tiles.
What type of adhesive should i use to fix the Durabase - does it matter ??

I would just dog tooth it ... Easier and more accurate for pre-fix bed depth.

If i dog tooth it do i need to use a particular type of addy as my base layer or is standard cement addy suitable.

I haven't dog toothed before so want to get it right first time.

I'd use a single part flexible adhesive Bert, rapid set if you feel comfortable using rapid 😉

standard set or rapid is fine , rapid if you want bed same day . Imo , doesn't need to be flexi unless glass mosaics .

Done this a few weeks ago with Weber spf standard set.

Got the idea from Bri & it worked a treat.
