Adhesive on porcelain tiles

Hi,i have got waterproof adhesive on my porclien tiles (pitted tiles) been advise to use LTP SOLVEX to get it off or would LTP GROUT REMOVER be better?

Are these glazed porcelain..? and what adhesive is it..?

not glazed porcline and i used wickes waterproof ady tubbed

Is this wall or floor?

And the adhesive will not be waterproof unless it is epoxy, it will just be water resistant

Even if it's walls, there's going to be issues. I can't find any ready mixed Wickes addy that is suitable for use with porcelain???

hi,tiles are fitted on the walls and the ady i found out is not for porclein tiles,any advise how to get the adhesvise off

How long have they been on the wall

how long have the tiles been up,are they large porcelain tiles? try removing a few for starters see how easy they come away

guys i have adhesive on the tiles and i am not trying to take the tiles off the wall

cooper,what size are these tiles and also was the adhesive suitable for porcelain?

you may have more issues than simply removing addy from the tiles if it is not suitable

any time iv had to remove adhesive spots from the front of a tile water and a sponge removes it no probs

Warm water, leave for 15 mins then use a wallpaper scraper. But your issue is not adhesive on the tile face, it is the fact that the adhesive will not have successfully bonded to tile back and substrate - those tiles are likely to come crashing down very soon.

If you choose to ignore the advice given, please ensure that your wife and children wear a crash helmet whilst using the bath or shower.
