adhesive question

I have just got a bathroom to do, 600 by 300 porcelain. Am i best using a powdered adhesive and also would i need to seal the tiles.

I would used flexi powdered gear at that size. If they are polished porcelien you may need to seal them.

Thanks Fred, the tiles look like they have a glazed finish on them, would you class them as polished. Also the tiles are two colours one is copper/ brown and the other is cream, would i be better using white adhesive rather than grey. Thanks

Use a slow setting spf type adhesive..this will give you more time to work with the sticky..........

As the lads have already said mate use powdered adhesive don't even think of using tubbed gear for a porcalain that size.

Glazed and polished are totally different.

Glazed is just that, it has a glaze on the procelain tile, where as polished is a matt procelain that has been polished up to a shine.
Polished porcelain needs to be sealed propperly as the polishing process opens up microscopic pores in the tile where dirst can get into the surface of the tile and cause dullness etc.

You could use pink adhesive if it suited you, lol, as the adhesive shouldn't be visible anyway, grout will be, unless that's what you meant.

Remember, grout don't like to stick too well to porcelain, so use a good flexi grout.
