Adhesive work time help?

Hi. It's been 4 years since I tiled my last bathroom.

I've bought Mapei rapid set adhesive.

How am I meant to use a 20kg bag in 20mintues based on their application details?

Using it to tile a wall in bathroom.

Forgot what I done last time but didn't have any issues. Surely cutting tiles out will take me longer also?

Mix it in smaller batches, keeping the correct ratio?

You could change the adhesive to a slow set, or if you want a good inbetweener, try something like Tilemaster Semi-Rapid (90-minute pot life, and grout in 6 hours).

Yeah I went for half a bag at a time.

Got about a solid hours n a bit worth of work out of it.

I'm slow but efficient haha.
