If its you I'd say wait. I believe it may be quite an outlay and you'll need to be sure its his passion and desire to compete in the best job the building industry has to offer!
Surely there are further education colleges running tiling courses for his age group and they should be free! My son went to the not so local college for his apprenticeship and despite this, now 11 years later, he turns out a pretty good job.:lol:
It'll be a tough call just now if the new build market doesn't expand and he'll need more than 6 weeks training and a few more years in age to give the domestic customer the confidence in his ability to turn out an excellent
standard.
As with my son we can only advise - its his choice.
I'am only glad I didn't make him study to become a Banker!
