yooooooooooo
i live by the karma code so im glad to help out, itl come back round to me at some point in life.
the offcuts will be free and roughly the size of your other bits maybe a bit bigger, i can get larger blocks at trade or maybe cheaper but only for another month or so as im leaving to start self employed tiling fulltime. il basically grab what i can over the next few weeks or so and give you a shout, i do work in london everynow and then so could prob arrange a meeting. theres plenty of stoneyards in london that you could visit and ask to raid the skip. most will allow that but in all the yards iv worked the skipped pieces get smashed into tiny bits to fit the most in the skip. if your ever in wimbledon, head to riverside rd nxt to the dog track as theres a very good yard there that may be able to help. speak soon regards mat
ps welcome to the forum:thumbsup:

Welcome to the forums. I'll let the professionals help with the questions though I'm sure you already have a bit of info to read already.

Don't suppose you have any pictures of your work you can upload? Would be cool to see some more neat stone work. (We have quite a few stone specialists on here, though not too sure if it would be the same stuff you do).

you are an absolute star. That would be really great. Large chunks and off cuts are exactly what I need to get practicing - i'm dumping as much as I can at my parents in the meantime until I can begin doing more in holidays and weekends and stuff...

if you're able to grab some big chunks give me a shout and I'll arrange to come and get them... rope my dad in! I'll try and check out place in wimbledon.

Thank you very much for ur help and support- you're definitely top of the karma tree :hurray: Rich

iv got a few blocks put aside of various sizes, some sand, some marble and some lime. im going in hospital for an op on weds so wont be around for a few days and off work for 2wks, il try and get some more colours but i leave the company at the end of the month so may not be able to get anymore, il keep ya posted. heres a pic to see if they are the sort of thang ya after.
regards mat
