angle finders do these really help?

just wanting to know your thoughts on angle finders,are these the best tool for the job or are there any other reliable methods you can use instead.

Yes!! Den they do the job no probs.....i personally don't use one coz i have my own methods...multi point measurements but hard to explain how i do it ..done it that long....so angle finders are great other wise...

I found it was better to learn without a angle finder, because one day you will be on a job and you wont be able to find your angle finder and you will be stuck how to do it...

Couldn't agree more. An angle finder is just another one of those tools you don't really need. They just add weight and bulk to your kit, and you easily become too dependant on them.
