another fine mess

called to a job today where customer is unhappy with the tiling ,
ive had a look and its pretty shocking,porcelain tiles ,too many things wrong to mention,
the main problem is the wet room floor doesnt drain away as it should,the tiles on the shower base havnt been cut to go with the form of the base,:mad2:
its on a impey mat ,luckily no ufh,has anyone had experience of lifting tiles off impey matting,i told them i wouldnt hold out for much success

Sorry mate, I have used Impey mat, but never tried taking tiles up. I would think it could well ruin the mat:yikes: good luck

sorry no pics as yet,if i take it on ill post some,its one of those that once you get into it,it will be a can o worms
might have to walk away ,but you feel for the client ,spent all their hard earned and not got what they wanted,

i think itll just rip the mat up, mebbe take the front off the cement board,probly have to start from stratch
