Discuss Any idea how I can sell a credit note for a well know tile store in London? in the British & UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums.com.
Trading standards will tell you as I have. Used to be my job to know these things. A receipt is simply proof of purchase and nothing more.
If you buy anything from any shop you are not entitled to a refund under any law unless it is proven it was faulty at the point of purchase in which case your statutory rights give you a refund entitlement.
Most places have a refund policy as a matter of customer service.
I find this normally helps
Steady on now - we're in the public-viewable forums lads.
Ebay it. I'm sure it'll go for something on ebay, stick a reserve on it and you'll not lose out too much I'd have thought. Might be worth doing it early feb though as wages will be tight until end of Jan early Feb for most people I'd have thought.[/QUO]
I'm sure the 'public' will take our light hearted views as such...
