I just want to see a bit more - honestly, this is new to me.
I can just imagine all the micro-cracks in the surface, so I want some close ups!

Tip! When I'm doing it I use a hot air gun to heat the trim, for the same Redon a blacksmith heats iron,it's essential in my opinion, but you must use good quality trim or you will definitely get cracks that you could see from 10feet never mind micro cracks!

Well if you've touched a pipe, your a plumber, touched a wire a spark, cut a bit of stud your a joiner, the list goes on, but we're not! ( well I'm not anyway) jacks of all trades, we are tile masons as the yanks like to say lol, just a tip from my experience with the concerns impish was rightly stating lol

I've been doing this for years with all trims no need for heating the only trim it's not to great on is genesis. The chrome gets a slight bloom on the bend and is not as shiny as the rest of the trim. The easiest one to do is the beava trims.

Thats good to know, I use Beava trim alot. Whats the technique? Cut back of ther trim, then what do you use to bend it round?

Hi mike make a mark where you want the bend at that point cut a 45 out the back of the trim then take an off cut of tile and place the trim over the corner and bend it round. Once you've done quite a few straight ones you can try slightly harder ones where you twist the trim while bending which give you all different angles you may need ideal for splayed ingoes and such.

Bend trims all time dude looks far better even the square plastic trim can be bent I cut out the back then with ahack saw cut back of trim slightly were you want it to bend works great going by the name cleanlines new at this forum thing
