The TI-T would be lovely to feel and handle everyday though, lol.
Wouldn't feel like work at all, wife might get jealous though.hehe.

hi lads

i was talking to dave from tt and there is 2 types of the new rubi!

dont know which model but one, lets say the ti-t , the breaker pulls towards you (ie sigma) and the ti-s breaker pushes forward (ie montolit) he claims its ok to use but it doesnt seem to do anything different to the sigma apart from quick release cutter. the handle seems very short also which might mean you need a powerful snapping action like mark devon has!!!

so all in all if you want a sigma or a montolit, then maybe its best to buy exactly that and not a rubi ??

i have heard lots of people swear by monolit recently aswell as the old school sigma users. my dad used sigma because he was trained by italians and he had to.......so i went to buy but didnt have the balls in the end. problem is now the more i look at montolit/sigma, the more i am begining to end my spanish interest, bit like the way i am with rafa benitez lol

A couple of years ago, some asian car manufacturer released a modell for the Italian market called "Fitta", which aparantly means "manly" or some such.

I had a REALLY good laugh when I read that.

"Fitta" means "****" (alrite, dirty word filter. It's the "c" word) in swedish

Youre right its the ti-t thats similar to Sigma and the ti-s which is similar to Monolit.

There are also 2 variations of each cutter 66 and 75 which indicate the max cutting length.

They will be on our site site shortly, meanwhile if anyone wants one, we can get them for you no probs.

Cheers

Neil
