Aquapanel joints

Hi I hope someone can point me in the right direction.
I am in the process of installing a new shower to replace my bath.
The long wall the shower tray butts up to is plaster over blockwork. The short wall is half plastered blockwork and half stud.
I have bought aquapanel to put up over the new studwork but was wondering how to butt it up to the existing piller of blockwork.
Can I just butt it up and apply aquapanel waterproof tape or would I be better putting aquapanel up for the whole length of that side?
PS I am not planning to aquapanel over the blockwork on the complete blockwork side.

Yes the long side of the 1200 X 900 shower enclosure is plastered blockwork wall. On the 900 side there is a vertical piller about 400 wide from floor to ceiling again this is plastered blockwork. To make up the rest of the short side a timber stud frame has been built which I was going to cover with Aquapanel. But I am wondering if it may be better to Aquapanel over the piller and timber frame in one continious piece as i may get different expansion between the aquapanel and the block piller?

I would span the stud work and block work, the differential between the two surfaces may move and may cause cracking in your tiles if you just have the stud work up against the block work within the shower.

Cheaper than the problems you could find yourself with though. good luck
