Some time ago i posted asking if anyone had heard about a small power chisel ?
Eventually sourced the wood cutting power chisel from Abortech, have been using it for a few months now and it is brilliant, well it is for my work, especially if i'm restoring a Vic floor and some swine has used carpet grippers and nails.
Trying to angle in to get the screed cut out so a new or reclaimed tile can be put back using a hammer and small chisel or even a supercut (by Fein) is awkward and under a radiator near impossible due to small amount of overhead swing.
Using the Arbortech makes short work of this fiddly job.
Ok you need to resharpen the chisel edges but it has saved me lot's of time.
It's made in Oz but Axminster tools sell it here.
I love it. Cheers Steve
