got some pebble mosaics to do over ufh so bought some of this to screed over the mat. i am just wondering what its like to use as ive heard its not very thin so may take some spreading

Love Ardex, but that I just don't get on with. It's the 2 part right? Very thick, rapid setting. If you are not careful, you get lumps forming. Work fast with it.

Your totally correct to use SLC.

arditex is a smoothing compound and is quite thick in texture but is ok to use if applied not to thick in one go...oh! and by the way it stinks to the high heavens as well ..lol lol..........dave..

cheers for that. the guy thought i could tile straight over the mat with the mosaics. they are only about 5mm thick. that would have been fun with just adhesive.

just used it today in a three metre bathroom. didnt half make my eyes water but not too bad to work with
