did you remove the 2nd layer in the end k13,did they come off easily?

yes i did. I had a HUGE cup of coffee, then attacked it with a claw hammer. Pulled a section off, and got in behind it with a fine toothed bacho saw. beasted it for 40 mins, and it was DONE. then it was 20 mins of scraping with a freshly sharpenede 5 inch harris blade, and hey presto, done and DUSTY !

the only thing with putting a skim coat on the boards is the weight issues the large format tiles will probably exceed the 20kg limit for skimmed walls.
