Just wondering how many sqm of tiling you can do in a day?
saying if there were a good straight run with nice new sub floors and walls.
Laying ceramic 30x30

I could do around 15-20sqsm...

Never actually timed myself, also never had those conditions to work in but I suppose on reflection I could do that. It's all the cleaning of grout lines, tools and mixing that slows things down with me, along with contiually checking with a straight edge that things are in line.

its hard to say really some days your quicker that others. 15 - 20 a day is probably about right providing you have a good surface and not many cuts. Your right tho grumps cleaning, mixing etc always slow things down. what id do for a laborour some days!!

Yep all goes well im about the same about 15-20m sq. I had my Da with me last sat (his first time) and we did 26 sq m including cuts with a big room and a bay window. No grouting done though, went back on Tue night and did it. Long day!

Tiled a conservatory last Friday 14 m2 bay at one end 33x33 porcelain
started at 8 1/2hr lunch finished at 5.30 . Grouted next day washed and polished started at 8 finished at 11. £300 .could do with one of these every week .

That is a young mans job..the walls and floors, on these jobs...power floated flat ..and dry lined to an 8ft level...try doing it 7 days a week......Gaz

priming walls, setting out tiling, tiling, grouting, cleaning tiles...thats how many sq metres a day you should estimate a days work on not just laying them, start to finish.

i am a young man gaz (28) both bathrooms just walls to tile. normally prime and set out for 8.30 then bash on all day. used to do 7 days all the time but have a young family now so like to be at home.
