Hi guys, thank for previous help.

So assuming I know have a secure wetroom. IE, either a former or triagulated ply deck. given there are distinct break points from true, (hope you follow), do I cut all tiles to follow these, at 45 deg or whatever, or do I keep level by an inverted pyramid aproach.

It makes sense to me but then who am I????

Cheers

this one is difficult to explain and someone else will probably explain it better

you need to follow the contours of the floor so you will taper the tiles so they are narrower at the drain end, this will give you the fall you need

you can draw the tiles out on the ply allowing for grout lines and cut the tiles to fit drylaying them to start with and sticking once all the cuts are done

i hope this makes sense .someone on here maybe able to download pics or a drawing to demonstrate the technique

can you imagine using the the same tiles as the wall the layout would have made it torture:smilewinkgrin:

If you've put a preformed tray in CB what about using sheet mosaics?, these will allow water to flow to the nadir:thumbsup:

it's the lowest point Neale, coincidentally it's also an anagram of "drain", why I didn't say that I don't know!
