As soon as I hear that I normally walk away (not very often mind)I know. I told the client who keeps trying to hammer the price down. He questioned my price, mind you, he wouldn't be the first to tell me he had had a cheaper quote and be telling porkies! Hence my silly question to begin with.
I'm always one of the most expensive quotes they will get but they normally know the quality that comes with the price & that gets me the job.
