BAL Bond SBR on plasterboard

wow, I didn't have a chance to look at the thread last night.

So from what I can fathom from the posts, I need to seal both the tiled board and the board which I will be painting, and it will be with Kitchen paint.

Is that right?

As far as tiling goes there's obviously two camps! Haha but personally, I'd prime plasterboard with SBR u have but it seems u can take it back too!
Las far as the painting is concerned, I'd see above, I only tile I'm afraid.
And u stil don't have a definitive answer haha sorry.

I use Weber adhesive & it states on the bag of Weber set + to prime bare plasterboard.
I always prime plasterboard as a matter of course although as stated above there are 2 camps, those who prime & those who don't.
For years I never primed, without problem may I add, but got into the habit of doing it when I switched to Weber addys..

So now the question is, Primer or Sealant, if I was to use something other then the BAL SBR, do I use the Gypsum Primer or Sealant?

I think that plasterboard is about ready to be tiled. :lol:
