bal mircroflex white grout and Silicon

...used the Bal mircoflex grout..white..and it dries light grey..wont be using that again..and as for the Silicon.what a load of poo...would not stick to the porcelain...not matter how much I clean the tile it want having it..

Microflex is the whitest grout I've ever come across. Is there any chance it got contaminated somehow? I agree about the Silicon, overpriced and very poor.

Don't use the grout but have found the silicon easy to work with, nice clean finish.

How much do you pay for the silicon Bri?

thats why i tried it as you guys swaer by it for whiteness...when it went in tub i thought it looked a bit dull..didnt dry any better !

I've always felt Microflex to be a very bright white. Its the only BAL product I use. Dow 785 for Silicon.

Just under a tenner a tube, I'm using mapesil and tilemaster Silicon mostly now, much better products.

I pay about £3.50 for Micromax, don't use it that often, prefer Mapei

mapei siliocne we ll priced and started using mapei sf white dries a decent white colour

I went to tile giant & they charged me X, showed them ScrewFix price & they priced matched but stated that its not the same Silicon.

The stuff ScrewFix sell is not as good quality..

Anyone else heard this??
