BAL stone and tile PTB

Hi, I'm starting to lay my tiles this weekend it's going on a dry sand and cement screed with ditra mat then 300x600 porcelain tiles going on top. Is the BAL stone and tile PTB suitable for under the ditra mat and for on top the mat to bed the tiles on? Which would be the ideal primer for the screed, would a BAL SBR do the trick?

Schluter recommend a non flexible adhesive for fixing the Ditra(which will be cheaper) SBR is fine diluted to the correct ratio stated on the instructions.

With the BAL SBR it doesn't say a dilution mixture for sand/cement screeds. Anyone know the dilution ratio?

I did contact BAL technical earlier and the women on the phone had to go and check but she did say to use tile and stone ptb. With the SBR will one coat do it or does it need two? The instructions on the back for diluting are pretty poor really, it has details for wood/vinyl/plaster but nothing for a sand and cement screed!

One coat should be sufficient but depends how absorbent/dusty the floor is.....

I did give the floor a really good vacuum over, think poor old henry has lost 20mm off his nozzle :lol:, so it should be pretty much dust free. Going to give it a coat in a minute and I'll see how it soaks in, I'm guessing if it soaks in to fast I'll have to slap on another coat?

I will post some pictures up tomorrow of how I'm getting along:shy:.

Sorry I can't print anything per say for Schluter,but on a training day they said(and elsewhere)that the flexibility of the flexible adh fixing the Ditra and the flexibility of the flexible adh fixing the tiles to the Ditra is in excess of what it is required.
