Everyone has a different view mate, but Keraflex is lovely stuff to use, as is Bal Single Part Flexible, i get the Keraflex much cheaper. As for the trowel, i'd use at least an 8mm, this way you know that there is a really good spread of adhesive between the tile and the Marmox. A 6mm will be fine, but the extra few mm give you the added security. Also a slighter deeper bed will give more a flatter wall.
