Yes he does have some small success. He goes to the exhibitions and gets a bit of interest in it.

I texed and emailed him since the show but no response. Suppose he is busy making his millions!

As for the novelty of the idea I dont think they have any real protection. But then I dont think there are too many companies vying for this market.

The thing at the moment is that he has had his exposure on the TV to millions of people which you cant buy. If it is ever to work now is his moment.
