Basalt mosaic tiles different colours!

Hi there.

I recently tiled a shower floor with a basalt mosaic tile.

I used kerapoxy for the mortar and grout. I layer the tiles on two separate days. I can clearly see which ones were laid on each day. The first day tiles are all lighter.

I tried a epoxy haze remover from mapei as I thought that may be the issue. But no such luck.

Any tips? Thoughts?
