Hi guys Im trying to price up a job and doing something a bit new for me so wouldnt mind some advice!
Im looking at turning half of a bathroom into a wet areal. The half will contain the bath (tight up to the walls) and a large shower screen, seperating the bath and shower from the rest of the bathroom.
Firstly the floor is concrete. Im researching putting a former into concrete as we speak.
But my main worry is with regards to tanking and the bath. Normally in a shower I tank, and tile no worries. But with a bath right next to the shower im worried about water ingress in the bath panel, and down into the floor.
The picture I have attached is almost identical to what im looking to create. But Im not quite sure on the best way to waterproof the whole area. Is it best to tank just the shower area, or right under where the bath will be just in case?
Any ideas on how to make sure the bath doesnt collect water under it? The width of the room is 1450mm so im hoping to either get a 1500 and chase the ends in, or get a smaller one and frame it.
