Hi Guys, I'm an average 'DIY'er and have only just found this very useful site and wonder if you can offer me some advice.

I apologise in advance if this topic has been covered before.

I'm going to tile my bathroom and fit a new bathroom suite.

Should I fit the bath first and then tile onto the bath, ...... or should I tile my walls first and then fit the bath?

What are the advantages or disadvantages of either method?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Major cosideration when bath is on mallable surface. Concrete substrate, no problems..look and weigh up the movement and solid structure.....Gaz

starting point depends on size of tile to be fixed <, I would NEVER go full tile off a bath , most baths are diffrent shapes and are not level ( TIP)if you are using a 200x200 , then start point would be 3 quarter plus tile as most sink and peds are standard height ,get ya self a laser put it on the sink shoot the line around the room take a tape measure and use

why do I say 3 quarter tile because you will have rip to cut say 10mm around sink toilet with the 3 quarter tile u can ajust to make cuts bigger , 10mm to 20mm off the full tile will not look bad ,but make your life easy,
Dont know how people would work ,so comon guys and girls give me some of your tips :hurray:
