Bathroom Walls

Hey guys I want to tile a bath splashback and in an ensuite all the walls using 400*250 ceramic tiles. The walls are plastered over plasterboard currently emulsioned. Both rooms are upstairs. I know I need to remove the paint. What is a gd adhesive and grout to use? Do they need to be flexible? Thanks Stevie

Imo I doesn't need to be flexible. ....I use weber set plus and there's approx £5 per bag difference between that and flexible adhesive...

I use Mapei P9 most of the time on walls. It has limited flexibility but its a great adhesive for the money.

I use Topps white flexible slow set Around £18 /20kg Trade . Really good stuff

I got keraflex , was the only mapei I could get but hoping it will tick all the boxes anyhow! I bought primer g to go with it, so it says apply, wait two hours to dry and then tile away? My question is after I coat the walls how long can it be before I have to re apply the SBR\ primer g? For example can I coat the walls one morning and come in the next and tile or do I need to reapply primer g? Once Its SBR primed is it primed forever or is there a open time?

Once the sbr is dry paint on the primer G then tile as it goes off pretty quick.

Sorry I got it mixed up with the prime grip. Once it's had a good prime let it dry then tile away. I personally would re seal if I went back the next day.
