There ya go:wink_smile:They are wooden straight edges, normaly used when putting your first row of tiles on a wall. They make sure your first row is straight and also stops them slipping.
No, use ones that are about 10mm thick or slightly thicker. Don't you use them like in the pic below for supporting you first row.oh i see a wooden straight edge ,but what would you use that for tiling for ,wouldnt it snap
yes but what do they stick to the wall with,and would these be grouted in when you put your cuts around them ,like another skirting board
Screw them to the walls, or nail them with masonry nails (if a brick wall) you can remove them once your first row has dried, it just guarantees you first row is level, they will be removed way before it's time to grout.yes but what do they stick to the wall with,and would these be grouted in when you put your cuts around them ,like another skirting board
