Benfer adhesive

Has anyone tried the benfer adhesive,s, Found a supplier and just tried the spf white for £12 at 25kg a bag.

It has a good rep, good range and they have worked hard to get it over here

I tried it when supplied by customer...seemed to have a bloody long pot life as I found tiles I set in the morning could still be moved at end of day! Didnt dare remove spacers as tiles were quite large and heavy. Luckily it had gone off by the morning though. The rapid set floor stuff was good.

Good bucket life as mentioned and did hold the tiles in a short time but still had time to adjust if needed. Was using ceramic at the time hav'nt used pocelain with it yet. The price I mentioned was for trade, Retail works out at about £15 a bag. Will use again at that price

To be honest oli I'd never heard of it a month ago it was another tiler who told about it then found them at the tile show. I get it from independant supplier in Watford, Decor tiles. Could be a search on the net mate

oli you can get it at sts in wortley leeds. good gear to use on walls as well

i have used most of the benfer range including the coloured grouts it is very well priced and the rapid set mixed with the chem laytex is a really good full flexi for wooden floors ,the leader flex is their best single part rapid and the benfer flex is a good porcelain adhesive ,the white can be a bit hit and miss on the colour and the rapids are a little bit harsh on the hands so steer clear if you have sensitve skin if i had to give a rating i would mark 8 out of 10 for price 7 out of 10 for reliabilty the leveling compound is okay again very well priced i used to buy the benfer flex rapid buy the pallet for 8.90 per bag

i use benfer rapid set flexi all the time and touch wood have had no probs up to now.i find it easy to work with and at £14 a bag trade happy days.
