Best ever

Best one was probably getting a £70 tip after a job. Or on a more 'wasn't that nice' level, done around half a metre behind an Aga for an elderly lady. Finished while she was out so her husband squared me up for it. Next day, my phone rang, and it was the elderly lady. "Oh dear", I thought, "What's wrong?". She says "I'm just ringing up to say what a lovely job you did, I'm over the moon with it". Not often you get that, was nice.

Best job was having to do a full showroom and all the facilities in an exclusive bathroom showroom, took 2 months was allowed to take my time, got regular breaks worked only 8 hours unless I wanted overtime, was a 5 min walk from home so no travelling/petrol costs. No need to pack up tools, was in dec/Jan and I had the place heated and cosy. Its brilliant to tell customers to go to the showroom to have a look at my work, usually secures my jobs for me,best advert ever!

From the point of customer satisfaction on the job I put as worst experience with travertine tiles the customer was that happy with the finished work he paid for me and the kitchen fitter to take our girlfriends out for a meal with them:drool5:
