I think it should be kept amongst the trade, if you let stuff like that out your practically shooting yourself in the foot, you can't hide profit in margins. I see that as a negative for us, after all when I goto work I want to make as much profit as I can.

Always read the instructions! Says it goes to 50mm so I wouldn't go further.

I'm only going down 70mm. But thinking I may just screed this area then slc the rest.

If it's most of the floor I agree completely but if it's only in patches then levelling would be so much quicker. I suppose you need to take into account both options from start to finish, ALL the costs involved, as well as time factor and evaluate it from there

It's a pain because it's in a galley kitchen which is remaining in place and the deepest holes are right by the kitchen cabinets so the slc is going to get underneath. Hard to stop it with the cabinet legs in the way for battens!

Use a barrier of damp sand and remove it once the leveller has dried

Fill the deep holes with sand/cement then batten out the edges before you pour the levelling .
