I used PCI grout for the first time the other day - new tile shop swore it was the dogs for flexi floors etc. And the customer had specified he wanted it. Not happy about not using me own gear....

Guess what - I have had my first call back. Grout is cracking.

Used Granfix on 3 tile repairs upstairs in the same house on boards. Low and behold, no cracks.

PCI - Absolute utter crap. Very dissapointed.

Although this is an old thread ,i use PCI adhesive and grout on all my floor jobs and sontex adhesive and aquafug on walls.NEVER had any problems at all with grout cracking,maybe it wasnt mixed enough or something but i highly recommend BASF PCI products.

Is there anything cheaper and as good as mapei keraquick?
I'm paying just over £20 per bag trade for this, but i cant seem to find anyone else
that does something similar in white that isnt rapid set.

Seems like a lot of choice (and a lot cheaper) for rapid set - but anything with a longer open time in white and its double the price for the privilige.

I use Pci tile fast set 6 & floorfast 20 ptb like Brian i think its good and not a bad price its one Germanys top adhesives they also make sontex feb & aquaseal Pete

I find that BAL is the best product around here, Have used Unibond but had problems and had to re-fix nearly a whole floor. Not sure if it was a bad batch ut defo using BAL from now on.
