hacksaw with new blade and genesis mitre block especially made for tile trim works perfect every time for me
Same for me. Its the new mitre box designed by Deano.

Don't buy one of those blade scissors for cutting plastic trim because they squash the trim and don't make the proper degree cuts. I only use mine for cutting the trim down to size before it goes into the mitre box.

that's what I have, it worked well but seems to cut off line now. Maybe damaged it some way.

I bought one for cutting metal trim but it just smashed them up?
I admit they do take a bit of getting used to, as I had the same issue when I first started using mine.

You have to go very slowly when cutting metal trim, and I would recommend changing the green blade for the orange one as it has more teeth and gives a finer cut.
Take your time, and you'll be fine.

About £30 shop around tho
I can only fine them @£47. That includes spare guides and a hacksaw. Not sure I need another hacksaw but it does look good.
I got these in June , very happy with them , changeable blades and feel strong and sturdy. Think Dave sells them.

Diggy
that's the type I have @Diggy bit mine started to cut good one way the totally skew the other, regardless of how tight I tried to get the bolts and changed blades. I used Stanley branded blades. It may be the blade that bends, hard to tell, I use Stanley branded blades, is there a better one?
