Best TX900 Rubi cutting wheel for Caselgrande Pedana Tiles?

Just after a bit of advice - i purchased a 2nd hand Rubi TX-900 cutter and wondered which is the best cutting wheel i should get for Caselgrande Pedana tiles?

The one i've got is cutting them, i'd just prefer to start the job with a brand new one.

padana are the 2nd/ 3rd largest producer of tiles in Italy and have so many different ranges of tiles with different finishes its hard to know which wheel will be best for you, why not buy the 3 sizes that fit the tx and see which works the best i am sure you will get use out of the others as time goes by

Mine are a smooth finish so am I right in thinking the larger wheel for smooth and a smaller wheel for rough/textured.

I find the 10mm wheel covers 99% of tiles, it's very rare I use any other size.

My thinking is that the smaller wheel would drop/rise through the different levels easier than a larger wheel.

Like you say, I might just get all 3 and see how I go.

Providing the surface is not too rough I'd recommend the 8mm as it is much narrower than all the other wheels allowing it to penetrate the surface better.

That is a top blade but you must treat them with respect as the 1mm blades can be damaged very easily so be careful

I've dealt with Duro for years as I'm in construction.

They absolutely walk all over any other brand for construction materials in a disc cutter.

I've been with the sales manager of Duro today - hence the "ahem" new blade 😉 and have every faith in this.

Incidentally, all Duro blades are rigorously tested and fully compliant for sideway forces and are sintered differently to most other blades.

Can you tell I've sold them for a while hehee??
