Big clinker 630

Incase anyone's interested in the big clinker 630, I went to topps tiles in Basingstoke today to purchase on and they came up as £86 for trade, very good price bloke in shop serving thought it was wrong and double checked but nope £86

It's not a bad price for what is a DIY cutter , not really up to yr in yr out cutting like the bigger named brands..but great for one off jobs or occasional tiling.

My only issue with this cutter is you see lots for sale used. It seems they dont last too well, while new they are good value. There are also lots of clones of this type of cutter too.

As I'm plumber by trade this cutter is perfect for me get about 2 jobs a month that involve tilling, if I was tilling day in day out like you boys would invest a lot more but yeah friends who are tillers gave said the same.

Boought this cutter the other day, worked great for Porcelain, but the next bathroom is Melamine, would it be up to this?

Lol Doubtful as travertine will or can break as soon as you look at it. You will need a wet cutter.

I have a Big Clinker. Got it from B&Q a couple of years ago for about £30. They were selling them off cheap. The alignment is slightly out i.e. you have to mark both ends of the tile to make a straight cut! Apart from that it has a good cutting action. I prefer it to my TS60 plus.
