Hi Guys,
Good to be here. I've been aware of the forum for years, but seeming to work night and day, haven't managed to get round to saying hello until now.
Anyway, I've been a tiler all my life, starting my first business at the tender age of 19 in Worthing. Moved to Devizes, Wiltshire 12 years later, and have now been in Petersfield for about a year.
Specialise in cut edge stone. Like to fit stone with tight, traditional size joints (Greek/Roman) and to meet British Standards as a minimum. Do lots of wet rooms and large floors. Prefer to construct (wedi, marmox, aqua-dec etc.)myself, and membranes and/or tanking used (Ditra, Pecilastic, Tilesafe etc.)as often as not.
Did my time (chuckle) teaching, but after three years as a programme leader within further education, I'm glad to be back on the tiles.
