The Dewalt coupled with the monty blade cuts faster than that.. trust me.

I helped lay some tiny 600x600x10 tiles on site last year. I just used an angle grinder to cut them. Glasses/mask/ear defenders required! Good luck. Sean

Do you use a back support Joe? I use one when laying heavy tiles and it really helps. Apart from that I think the rest you know. Make sure the floor is totally flat, make sure you get a full bed under the tiles... And so on.
Not trying to teach you how to suck eggs.

might be worth while using a normal trowel (plastering trowel)to back butter them big suckers as you can use both edges of trowel just a thought:8nly for back buttering

I have 20m2 of 80cm x 80 cm x 16mm polished porclain to lay on wednesday on ditra matting ,I will use pourable thick bed adhesive and back spread the tiles,looking forward to it as I have been in the office alot lately

iv been laying lots of that size lately myself!125m2 in current job.
