What would you say is the largest size porcelain floor tile you can fit on your own...?

Largest I’ve fitted on my own was 1200x1200x10 and I ain’t doing that again!

Each tile was 34kg plus addy back skim, in conjunction with the awkwardness of the size it felt like a bloody ton, I’m only 5ft8 which didn’t help the reach. Took some forward thinking to get it done to say the least.

1800 x 900 thin tile Andy, can get tricky, but can be done. Just done 1800 x 900 thin tile wet room completely on my own.

1200'sbloody hell Lee ..after last two weeks I reckon 800x800 is big enough on your own, and some of those with Lcuts I couldn't get in without another pair of hands..

If they’re 10mm they won’t be that bad Andy. That 400mm less makes a big difference. About 12kg actually haha

I did 1200x800 stone think it was about 25mm thick, the first few were a nightmare but once you get into handling them you don’t really think about it until you crawl upstairs to your bed!

Yeah you learn to walk the tiles into a pile of sticky stuff for sure.
