Black Grout gone white!!

Hi folks grouted floor on saturday(bal ebony) looked ok when i left,came back to it this morning to find black had turned to light grey.Found out that i have probably over washed the grout (had to give it plenty of wipes to clean surface of tile).Tile shop has recommended i clean grout with Fila Grout Residue Remover in a few days time.Is there any more advice you could give me thanks--dont suggest suicide i might be tempted.

Give it a try and see what happens, could be aqua mix grout colourant if that don't work

that grout always seems to dry lighter than in powder form

This is a prob i have seen with that make of grout sometimes...

Aqua-mix Enrich and seal will sort that out... rub it onto the joints and it will darken the grout.... or it is a re-grout..

It is probs down to over wetting as you say and it is polymer whitening...

Sometimes a good rubbing of the joints with a scotch pad can help... but good results have b een had with the Enrich and seal..

i changed a jasmin grouted floor last week to a grey !!!!! using mapei fuga fresca.
worked a treat.
