A client has complained that I have not sealed a black marble wet room I completed last month, so I went over today to look. Very odd 'blooming' like cleaning streaks. Any way, the plumber happened to be there and said he had overherd that the maid had used Viakil the very day I had completed the work. They tried to say that I had not sealed, which is complete pony.
So I asked them, i said I heard that the maid had used Viakil to clean the tiles, oh yes she did they replied. Why not be honest in the first place and tell me the truth rather than get me over trying to get rid of the marks, they have even had the tile shop they used and they were told what the maid had done . Now they asked me how they should be cleaned, I said a good marble cleaning product of plain warm water with a few drops of washing liquid, nothing else, their next reply, why didn't you tell use that when you fixed the tiles!
So, how do I stand? I've got another job at their home, in marble again. It also appears that a bethroom finished in marble has been damaged in the same way, maid again using viakil.
