Black sparkly quartz

Going to price a job tomorrow with these tiles and know that there is some cheap tiles out there which only have a low % of quartz in them. What is the minimum amount of quartz in the tile before it becomes a problem to lay?

No direct to old concrete floor.

I wouldn't worry about the quartz content, just be sure to lay them with a 2 part flexi adhesive

As Ken says I wouldn't worry unless going over UFH.
I foned Weber tech & they said they are fine with their spf, either rapid or standard.

I layed these on electric underfloor heating a few years ago.. Wasn't aware it was an issue!?! No call back as yet. I just used a flexible rapid set.

Were they cheap ones or Gulf Stone quartz?
I have fixed Gulf Stone a few times without issue.

To be honest I'm not sure, as customer supplied.. I would've thought cheap ones though lol!

Tbh, I have never seen a job with quartz that has failed through ufh.

I would definitely butter the back of them as we'll even if it's on concrete
