A cheap source of towels and sheets are the charity shops. They get used clean towels and bedding which is not good enough to resell and let them go really cheap or for free - people buy them for pet towels.

Wots wrong with old tee shirts? Especially the kids ones as they grow out of them make ideal dusters and free!:hurray:Failing that go asda. Twin pack 2white tee shirts 3quid wear them a while when grubby turn them inside out to dust with. I hav found blue towels can leave marks and fibres particullarly over white grout...With the trade being quite at the mo save pennies where you can more so on thow away items like dusters!...Happy days

Daughters old tee shirts work perfectly for myself,i did however use a set of towels and face cloths that i thought were past it only to find out that they had been a wedding gift from one of my wifes relatives.Oops,yeah that mistake did not go down well.

I like the comments about using old clothes, I remember a mate who had a garage asking his wife if she had any old clothes he could have for rags and was toold Only the ones I'm wearing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i use WD40 and a microfibre cloth, works a treat

i use dishwashing cloths. cheap and cheerful

I don't advise anybody to put oil onto there tiles.........

Used a dry sponge on a job yesterday and it worked better than any cloth i have used.
