I find the 14" ragini trowell fine do a good job with it !
obviously the marshal will be better but like all things you get what you pay for,but dont spend too much you might find you cant plaster (course or not )
i am self taught at plastering and like i say do a good job, freinds always asking me to do plastering jobs for them .but never took one job on as i find it the most tedious job in the world and it gives me blisters :lol:
i only do it in my own house to save money
good luck with the course mate but im sure a few more would agree plasterings not for everyone!!!!
