Runafix stipulate that the min you can screed with there sbr is 6mm mixed with a fine sharp rendering sand

or levelflex can do 50mm

I have used levelflex, fibre slc. Really impressed. It goes from zero to 50mm. Maybe not been around for long, but I have rang them twice in the last 3 months to congratulate them on a top slc. Time will tell:thumbsup:

its sand/cement screed im thinking of

i dont know much about screeding

when i was kitchen fitting i needed more height in the kitchen of an extension to get the larder unit in

the architect refused to allow a 45mm screed as the minimum allowed was 65mm

Thats tosh mate, I've been screeding for a while and 50mm was the standard and I've even done one mixed with sbr in front of a garage, not my choice but did'nt have a problem

i dont know whitebeam thats why im asking

i had to take 30mm off the bottoms of all the units, it was in the days before plastic feet and the sides of the unit went to the floor

the whole job was a lash up

since then ive assumed that the regs were 65mm min as that was what the architect told me
