Brown Grout Recomendations

If you go with Mapei don't use their brown unless rusty orange is the hue your after.
If you want brown as we all know it then go with their Chocolate.

I always think a dark grey like Mapeii anthracite looks best with plank tiles. They're meant to look like wood and the 114 ages the floor naturally. A similar colour such as brown in this case can make the floor look artificial and laminatey

Mapei's last lot of 7 colours they released were specifically for the various shades of wood effect plank tiles that are so popular now. Mud's another great one. More natural than brown, greys or anthracite.

I've always thought. I should hide. rows of tiles .....
and homogenize. color tiles and grouting. same .
I always wrong then?

I like a dark grey grout with planks.
When you look at a real timber floor there is always a dark joint where dirt gets ground in.
Real planks don't generally all blend in one colour.
Just my opinion tho. 🙂
yes, only your opinion ( wrong) 😛
i do not see the dirt 😉

Me n Craig just finished this one, my heart sank when customer saw tilemaster 3000 swatch and chose charcoal instead of grey as original plan, was a bit sceptical how it would look but pleased with finished job and found grout washed off a lot easier than mapie anthracite..
